Welcome to the information site of the Boston Petanque Club.For almost 50 years, Le Mistral Club de Petanque was New England's
premier petanque club. Originally based in Worcester, MA, the club's
membership dwindled in recent years as members aged and newer players
sprang up in Boston. This year, the club has a new face and a new
home base. The Boston Petanque Club is the "new and improved"
incarnation of Le Mistral. The new name reflects the club's current
and future center of play and also pays homage to the players who
founded the country's oldest club; "Le Mistral" will remain as the
common reference for players throughout Massachusetts and the rest of
the globe.
